Beer Tastings at Emersons Brewery

Thursday 27 July & Friday 28 July
Time: 1900 - 2200
Venue: Emersons Brewery, 70 Anzac Ave, Dunedin
Tickets: $25.00 per day via online registration

Emerson's beers are not pasteurised like most mainstream New Zealand beers. The yeast is left alive in the beer to mature and enhance the flavour of the beer. Emerson's ales are produced from malted barley, hops, yeast and water. They do not have preservatives, added sugar, artificial colouring, have not been pasteurised and some are not filtered.

Some Emerson's beers are presented in French oak barrels. Pints are sometimes available on hand pump, ensuring that the beer is served at the correct level of carbonation, eliminating gassy beer.

Friday 28 July
Time: 1715 - 2030
Venue: Glenroy Auditorium, Dunedin Centre
Tickets$30.00 via the online registration with $10.00 from every ticket going to support Age Concern

Join us for the College's first ever Ceilidh to raise money for Age Concern! Bring your tartan and be ready to dance as we spend a few hours being entertained with high energy live traditional music. One drink and nibbles will be supplied, cash bar available.

Originally the word Ceilidh (kay-lee) descended from the Gaelic word for 'gathering' or 'party... However, these days when people think of a Ceilidh, they think of a fun filled night for dancing, good music and great company!

The beauty of a Ceilidh is that everyone can take part, young or old, experienced dancers to beginners and even those with two left feet!
